As a wedding photographer, every wedding is an opportunity to create new content and post it on your website.

Getting those real weddings up on your website is an excellent way to prove that you have experience, and demonstrate your expertise.

But “blogging your weddings” isn’t really enough to have a competitive content strategy in 2025.

And if you’re using the typical tactics for “targeting wedding venues” that have been popular for over a decade… you might not be getting the best results possible from search/AI traffic.

It’s time to re-think your wedding venue SEO strategy!

Quick intro to the course…

What you get in the course…

I’ve been creating online courses since 2018, and this is the first course I’ve released on my custom course platform.

I have worked hard to create a course that you can actually complete. I don’t want you to purchase this and put it on the shelf, I want you to take action so that you can get the results you want!

I believe that SEO success comes from practice. You need to actually try things to learn what works.

The course focuses on a simple system. You’ll learn:

  1. How to write an individual venue guide
  2. How to create a venue hub
  3. How to blog real weddings

The course starts with the easiest (and possibly most powerful) part of the system. The venue guide.

The lessons will walk you through everything that you need to include and show you plenty of examples.

There’s also a questionnaire, Custom GPT (that will help you draft your first guide based on simple answers to questions you already know), and a checklist to make sure you don’t forget anything.

Once you’ve published a venue guide, you can post it in the content club for feedback. I’ll make sure to respond to your first post, and you can get feedback from other students on all posts going forward!

After you get the hang of writing a venue guide, you’ll work through the steps to create a venue hub, which often has the *most* traffic potential.

There are so many ways to create a great venue hub, and I walk you through my favorite 3 options in the course.

I also include a “scorecard” to help you narrow down your list so that you can include the venues that are the best fit for your audience (and the ones that Google is expecting to see).

The 3rd module is all about promotion and tracking.

I’ve included some of my favorite strategies for sharing and promoting venue content. This will make sure you aren’t just hitting publish and hoping for the best. You’ll be a participant in your own success!

Finally, you’ll learn how to simplify your blogging process to create real wedding blog posts that support your venue content instead of cannibalizing it in search!

Once you build out this process, blogging becomes SO easy. I even include a Custom GPT to help you write the perfect titles for your real wedding posts.

Oh, and I forgot to mention one of my favorite things…

You get access to group coaching calls + our course community where you can ask any questions you want about your venue content.

Many students use these for accountability, and try to complete specific assignments before the next call so that they can check in and get feedback from me before moving on.

Currently, my calls are at 2pm Eastern every Tuesday, and we have a special set of channels in our Discord where you can discuss venue content at any time!

To recap, you get…

  • 9 easy lessons that promote taking action
  • 2 Custom GPTs to help you move fast
  • 3 Templates and Checklists to keep you organized
  • Feedback from Corey on your first guide, hub, and real wedding
  • Access to live group coaching
  • Access to our members-only Discord

Yes!

Your goal is to become an expert on wedding venues in your area.

It isn’t enough to do a little online research and tell AI to write a post for you. BUT, if you’re willing to put in some effort, you can absolutely create valuable content about a venue even when you haven’t photographed a wedding there (yet)!

I give plenty of examples of how to form an opinion, and make your content genuine. I even include a list of 50 questions you can answer that will help you do deeper research on a venue and make sure you are covering your bases.

The course is self-paced.

The lessons themselves should only take you a few hours to work through.

Completing all course work could be done within 2-4 weeks with reasonable effort.

This will get you a solid foundation and working knowledge of the process. Building more venue guides, hubs, and real weddings will be an ongoing process.

You will have permanent access to the course materials.

If I decide to stop hosting them at any point in the future, I’ll make a downloadable version available by request.

You’ll have access to the course community and group coaching for as long as I host them.

In general, SEO work can take months to reach it’s full potential.

So far, students who have used the Venue Guide Course are seeing faster results than anything else I’ve created. Some are getting new clicks within a couple of weeks of publishing a venue guide.

Your results will depend on your effort, the competition in your area, the authority of your site/brand, and many other things.

This is not the kind of course you should take if you need immediate results to stay in business. However, the long term benefits can be a game changer for many photographers!

All you need is the ability to set up pages and/or posts on your website.

This strategy can work on pretty much any modern website platform.

My favorite platforms are WordPress, Showit, and Squarespace. I’ve seen students get great results on all of these.

My focus is on websites that are written to an English speaking audience. If your website is in another language, or written in multiple languages, I may not be able to offer full support.

It is also important to note that Corey is located in the United States, and my typical support and coaching hours are during business hours in US time zones. I try to choose hours for calls that accommodate the West Coast, East Coast, and the U.K. (evening).

I offer group coaching and 1-on-1 consulting.

The course offering includes a weekly Q&A call (Tuesdays at 2pm Eastern). You’ll get access as long as I offer the group coaching.

1-on-1 consulting can be purchased hourly, and the current student rate is $149/hr.

I offer a 100% money back guarantee within 14 days of purchase.

Just email support@fuelyourphotos.com or use the form on the course dashboard to send me a request.
